Thralls are creatures under the control of a vampire. These enthralled creatures generally have no will of their own and are essentially slaves to their masters' bidding. On the grid, they are player controlled characters attached to the master account.

A wraith is the spirit of a dead vampire, enthralled by a living vampire. These wraiths are intangible (unable to carry out most on-grid actions), but are useful for scouting and draining anima from enemies. Wraiths do not need to be 'fed' anima in order to survive outside the Shadow Realm, but subsist off their masters' power. Wraiths are invisible to humans and vampires without the Medium power.

Although wraiths cannot be physically harmed or killed, they can be trapped for 24 hours by Spirit Cages. Like normal traps, spirit cages are triggered when a wraith steps into the square. They can be dispelled by those with the Medium power or banished to the Shadow Realm using a ritual. To return, a banished wraith must be summoned by ritual or resummoned by the summoner.

All wraiths must be vampires who have died recently, with the exception of vampires who have the Ancient Wraith roleplay power. People with this power may summon a wraith up to 600 years old.

A summoned wraith's stats do not change from the tier one power to the tier two power. All that changes is the amount of anima it costs to summon them.

Assorted Thrall Information

A certain level of charisma is required to dominate thralls. You must have at least 1 Charisma to control 1 thrall, 10 Charisma to control 2 thralls and 20 Charisma to control 3 thralls, and 30 Charisma to control 4 thralls. At any given time, you may only control 1 of each type of thrall be they humans, wraiths, wolves or the yet to be released mastery thralls.

If you summon a thrall with the Tier 1 ability, you must delete the thrall before you can summon a Tier 2 version of the same thrall. You cannot, for instance, have both a T1 and T2 version of a human thrall summoned with Bewitch Human. Note: Before deleting a thrall, be sure to empty their inventory and bank account or they will be lost. Even if you recreate using the same name, you will need to reshare their ID.
