A brief History of Cannon

Let me tell you a bit about the Rules when it comes to RPing around here. back before Path when there was no one set of rules that comaglerated together around the entire universe and then there was Cannon. This was very good and exciting because it could now put right all the bothersomeness and triviality about how other people played the game wrong. Only there was one problem: David hadn't written any of it yet still really hasn't so all we know is how that cannon defines us as characters (even more so than in the represented universe) that everyone is very cautions and haughty to tip-top around it but NOBODY EVEN KNOWS WHAT IT REALLY IS!!! I hope this rant was educational. thank you for listening.

When updating threads from forum to archive forum, you seem to be including the search term in the thread URL. As these weren't originally included in character pages, the search term will need to be removed for proper syntax/reading of old threads. -- Phoenix ᴛᴀʟᴋ 16:57, 5 September 2014 (MDT)

Respectfully, the the links still redirect correctly to the proper location even with the search parameters included and the aesthetic design on the wiki page is not alternated. Could you explain why this finishing step is necessarily required?. Thx 4 the clarity soon to follow.-- Ripper
This is polite because you`re editing user created pages for their character. It's up to the original page creator (player of the character) to decide whether they want the search terms there. Since they don't appear before, it's safe to say they choose not to have them there, and it's a simple word switch (Forum to archive forum) to link to archived threads without the search term whereas with it there, they also need to remove content (alternatively, see Template:Thread & Template:AThread). For the sake of clarity, keeping conversations in one thread is probably the best way to go about it, so I moved your comment here. -- Phoenix ᴛᴀʟᴋ 17:29, 5 September 2014 (MDT)

For those in that format it certainly would seem easier for updating them through this method.

Otherwise, I'm fairly positive that they any OP would prefer to have a working link on their page than to deal with some invisible bits of floating text that never gets seen or used..no?.--Ripper

No, I'd actually rather update my own threads; if it were my page, I'd prefer the old links because the old links are easier to modify without error on my own (there are a few links that are wrong, which is why I mention it). There's a simple way to do it without causing people extra work - why not use it? -- Phoenix ᴛᴀʟᴋ 17:49, 5 September 2014 (MDT)

Im not entirely sure why you removed the entire table of rituals and their prices / the amount of items that the NPC ritualist offers / needs? I think in the future if you think that a page shouldnt have something on it then to simply add either the {{Clean}} or just a simple "Hey, I dont think this should be here, does anyone else?" to the pages discussion page when it comes to large amounts of wiki content like that. -- Camai ᴛᴀʟᴋ 06:43, 6 September 2014 (MDT)

...what? Ripper
You had removed the extensive table of information regarding Aeryn and the rituals she offers. I was just asking why you had, and then suggesting for in the future when you feel something of that magnitude should be removed to ask the wiki community first on the talk page of the article. -- Camai ᴛᴀʟᴋ 23:33, 6 September 2014 (MDT)
pretty sure it was an accident, no harm done. Susanᴛᴀʟᴋ 00:16, 7 September 2014 (MDT)
Yeah I caught that when he re-edited and didnt know what I was talking about LOL - but right, no harm done -- Camai ᴛᴀʟᴋ 00:26, 7 September 2014 (MDT)

The wraith guides have their own pages and there is no need to create blank pages for Wraith Guides just for a redirect. The PC wraith guides can have their own pages if the owner wants to create their pages but there doesn't need to be a page created just for a redirect. I don't appreciate to have my edits or deletes reversed when I make them for a reason. Lizzie Llewellyn 18:27, 26 September 2014 (MDT)

  • I also was keeping comments and information in the Talk Page

The personal sandbox page you have is marked for deletion as a global Sandbox has been created for all players to use. - Amalea 01:56, 24 February 2016 (MST)
